Brazil look excellent, as do most of the teams from los Americas.

Portugal v North Korea (another 5-3 hopefully) Chile v Switzerland - I think Chile should try to win this, but a point today would mean a draw against Spain in the last game would be enough. The Swiss might fancy their chances against Honduras in the last game. So, it could be difficult for Chile if the Swiss sit back, they beat spain despite only having 26% posession! Can't see Spain slipping up against Honduras, but you just have to look at Germany, Italy, Eng, France to see that anything can happen. Indeed it seems the teams from 'los americas' are playing the better football here. Brasil had no trouble at all with Ivory coast. I'm afraid none of the African teams will make it trough the 1/8 finals.
I really was hoping some of the african teams would do well. Especially on their own continent. As for the games today, my predictions: Portugal - North Korea 1-1 Chile - Switzerland 2-0 (I hope for you Jean Pierre) Spain - Honduras 2-0 Cheers Hollandia.  |
