My guess (not a prediction) will be wrong. You will have to wait a few more days for the beta WUs, but not many. And for the project launch itself the good news is that the date has been locked by all interested parties, therefore things are on the rails. Cheers. Jean. |

You will have to wait a few more days for the beta WUs, but not many. Yes, I am ready, too - and hoping to get the first beta units since more than 9 months. Since I have to run Windows instead of Linux on my fastest client I didn't receive any beta unit :-(

I hear the Betas are floating around, great news, I don't beta test due to the unique nature of my BOINC setup but as soon as crunching begins you can count me in, I'll be throwing everything I've got at this project!
Thats only about 250000points a day ATM but I plan to at least tripple that by the end of this year when I bring some new quad cores nodes online. It was reading about phase 1 of this project that made be join WGC in the first place, even though it had finished when I joined, I've been building up a little grid just waiting for phase 2 to kick off. Finally its time has come! |

Je pense être porteur d'une très bonne nouvelle. En effet le 16 Avril, j'ai reçu sur mon ordinateur windows xp home SP3 une Wu bêta dont le nom était BETA_CMD2 Je pense que CMD2 = Cure Muscular Dystrophy 2 Le calcul de la Wu à duré 07:27:25 Malheureusement la Wu fut un échec suite à 1 erreur code 131 Je pense que le début de la phase 2 est très proche. Peut-être 8 ou 15 Jours.. Amitiés à tous et toutes Jean-Paul |
