JJ, in the IT business (where you are too) we use to call "the date you know" a target date. The date HCMD2 will start, we'll know it after receiving the first real WUs.
Since you are in WCG since it started you should know that the above statement is particularly true here. Especially when you add the Decrypthon lab in the picture (how many delays since the end of HCMD1?).
But you know my email, so you can send me your bet and we will check it after the launch.

Back to my quoted post, it was talking of beta WUs, nothing more, and still it was just MY estimate.

I can't say that I really understand why the official start date would be...or need to be such a secret, but maybe that is just the internal frustrations of the father of a six year old Duchenne's Musculary Dystrophy son...

So let's go with the almost as relevant/pressing question of:

From the date that HCMD Phase II does begin, what is the anticipated time to completion for this project?

Here I am assuming that the collaboration teams have estimated project participation rates...

I'd imagine they need ot get an idea first of how fast and accurately results are coming in before estimating a completion timeframe.

I'm eagerly awaiting the beginning too, hoping something can be done for my mother. It'll be the first thing I can do and feel like I'm helping.
