Morning all,
"A-L" have informed "A" mail on it's way. Dog and off for a walk before the rains come again. Yhen cooking, have a glut of apples this year so lots of pies, and Grumbles for the freezer. |

Morning all, "A-L" have informed "A" mail on it's way. Dog and off for a walk before the rains come again. Yhen cooking, have a glut of apples this year so lots of pies, and Grumbles for the freezer. Hmm, always grumble myself when it freezes,  talking of which, that is what the weather here in the midlands is, ruddy freezing!.  A busy weekend ahead of me, Standard Bearer on Saturday, Market Harborough and Sunday, Oadby & Wigston, for the return of the boys from UN duties in Nicosia Cyprus, a difficult job holding the peace line over there. They have been granted the freedom of Leicestershire. These guys take a year out from work and their families as TA volunteers, and are preparing for their next tour of duty - Afghanistan. Evening all
A mixed day weatherwise but now the sun is shining. It stayed dry for my morning walk to the supermarket but later there were scattered showers. An Apple day garden party at the Village garden tomorrow so keeping my fingers crossed for a dry few hours. |
