Re: Re:r

There was a palm tree outside The Lord Nelson
- do you have winters as in winter in Poole?

Re: Re:r

Would that mean that the palm tree can remain outdoors year round?
Most winters are not all that bad in Denmark, but there are exceptions.
Last year region after region got pounded with lots of snow,
the easterly island of Bornholm was paralyzed for weeks.
It was very cold as well;
a nasty and seemingly neverending winter. But that's not normal.

Reminds me: Edwardian charged me with looking up Bornholm Disease
- and I just did
devilish it's also called "The Devil's grip" and sounds really unpleasant devilish

Evening all

It's been trying to be the hottest first of October on record but i believe it hasn't quite made it. However, it was plenty warm enough for our monthly Village gardening morning where you needed some sturdy tools to dig into the soil for weeding.

Not a whisper of a breeze tho
We have a micro climate in this area being on the coast with hills behind us even this far north we also have a few palms in gardens that survive what ever hits us. So far no coconuts tho .

The west coast is warmer by degrees than the eastern side the outlaws used to live in Harrogate and we could do direct comparisons distance only a matter of 60/70 miles as the seagull flies So whilst Harrogate has "Bettys" the Swan Hotel & the Agatha Christie connection. We had warm weather and a sea-view

Tony... Sorry to hear about Die Deutsch Schäfer Reisen bis der Engländer .I'm very much aware of the possible dangers at this moment
As once again we have a canine invasion 3 dogs plus daughter..........
That's all from the Auberge /Gasthaus for families and pets in Damp dismal Lancaster
The wind molens are standing still and immobile but stately on the hill and we have Sunday lunch to look forward to .
