Re: kold

It would be fun
- just in my small area we could spend an entire week looking at all kinds of stuff
- but you would want to go to Copenhagen as well
- see Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn and take a trip by tour boat around the harbour.
Provided the traffic cooperates, we are just one hour by Rosie from Copenhagen.
A trip to island Funen with Hans Christian Andersen's birthplace
<haven't even seen that myself>
across the Great Belt Bridge is doable and worthwhile as well.
Even a two-day trip to Jutland for a few main attractions
- the North Sea coat being one of them and
"The Old Town" - a collection of old town houses from all over the country ranking high
could be on the agenda.
I don't have enough room to set you up, but I know exactly where to put you

Danhostel - Danish for Youth Hostel where everybody is "youth"

Københavnermarch - Copenhagener March

Thank you Little Mermaid..........I have bookmarked the Hostel. Are the prices given per day, or per week?

There is lots to see. Yes I would want to go to Copenhagen- I've been before but Sue hasn't.

I'll have to start saving sad

Re: kold

B&B is on me, if you would be kind enough to accept
- transportation in Rosie, too
We can share the expenses 2:1 when out.

Re: kold

Evening all

I don't know how my last post arrived on the Survivors unless it's a hidden message to me.

Talk of Denmark brings back very happy memories. I've been there a few times and even spent some time in Northern Germany when I was involved in a Danhaus being erected in a single day.

You may have clicked on the wrong "Recent Thread" blanco smile
What did you do in Denmark?
What is "a Danhaus"?
<looks as if I got curious>
