never was much of a shot at casting ballots

mind on other things as its always on a Thursday
An added problem with our ballot paper on this ward is that One of the candidates is not shown to have any party affiliation Due to a dispute with the town hall . Bloomin well in dispute even before he gets elected .

I will go and vote despite the factI Haven't had a visit from any candidates And I dont know any of them
Have they done good deeds in the community?Or are they just like all politicos Self seeking self engrandement, expense claiming, attention seekers.Are they for the New road ? do they want to close the library? sell the allotments? Will they fill all the pot holes in before the freeze start's again .
And wonder of wonders should they actually come knocking on my door will they make promises they never keep?

Cast my vote if only to keep democracy alive, mustn't let apathy creep in, I doubt it will make any difference but at least it makes someone accountable for the mess we're in!

Evening all

We had five minutes of it this morning when I walked down to the bank and that was it so I had to water all the containers this afternoon.

I went to the polling booth early when collecting the paper but ours was dead simple Yes or No, as there are no Borough elections. All the signs seem to be a big wins for the NO vote so we'll still have MPs who have been elected with less than half of the voting electorate.
