Evening all
Although light rain was forecast, my weekly walk to the supermarket was rain free and pleasant enough. Communications are another thing. I'm still having problems with my broadband connection and the provider could only suggest I spend more money to have the phone connection enhanced and get a new router that could be connected to the beginning of the line. They seem immune from the fact that their exchange apparatus has caused all my problems. I got quite cross and told them to stuff it and am now seriously thinking of a Virgin cable connection which could also then do the TV. They've always had the line just outside the front of the house so I will find out what the total cost will be. Any of you had any experience of them. Daughter No 2 has had them for some years with no complaint but then daughter No 1 has TalkTalk, which is the same group as my lot, and she is satisfied. My local exchange seems to have been subject to more work than some and this always seems to upset something but nothing like the botheration of this time. Never had this problem with the battery radio and a 9.5 hand driven film projector. |

Ivan I have been with PIPEX for a few years now, no problems!
You can get a package, phone calls, phone rental broadband etc. Look em up on the web (assuming you can connect of course, lol) |
