NEWS FLASH>>>>>

"Hi Ted, thanks for the email :) We live 4 hours away from Christchurch. We all felt the big one it was enough to get me running for the doorway :( we also felt a few of the aftershocks.
This is just horrendous. Christchurch is a major town in regards to getting supplies etc. We have been warned that milk and bread may become scarce. We all feel pretty much helpless as there isn't a lot we can do. We are all donating money to the red cross. We have a couple of traumatised kids starting at our school tomorrow :(.. There doesnt seem to be any more good news... they are talking of recovery not rescue now :(

Regards Kate"

Although it looks awful its a relief to know that they at least are OK!
I have sent your best wishes

Re: .

Morning all! smile Quite bright here 'darn sarff' and very warm too. Got the big supermarket trip this morning then I am hopeful of maybe getting out in the garden to do a bit of clearing up! wink It seems like it has been raining for weeks, and it is all looking very neglected out there! Have a good day everyone. wink

Re: .

Good morning all.........
'Christchurch earth quake disaster'

With so much drama and tragedy that has happend in the world recently,
( February has been a traumatic month ) It's wonderful to hear some good news, Kate and her family are safe.

'Middle East'

My thoughts and prayers are also with those brave souls fighting for freedom and democracy in the Eastern world, a different type of tragedy
Lets hope they will eventually be safe too.

Re: .

Evening all

A lovely bright and warm day here too so I did a bit of clearing up outside but still plenty more to do.

Still fighting some problems on my 'puter. The disk drive has now decided not to work so I can't set up by new wireless router. I know it's pretty cheap to get a new one but maybe the machine is telling me its been around for a long time and is getting tired.
