Re: .

Good morning...........

Over at my daughters yesterday evening, she rang to say she had been burgled, thief came over the fence at the back of the house and came in through an insecure back door, took her handbag and contents, daughter was cleaning upstairs heard a noise came down just as the thieving basket run out of the door, police reckon it was an opportunatist break-in, given the opportunity I'll break their thieving fingers!, worrying thing is she was in the house alone.

Do take care all...............

I hope the police catch him.

My day has been good - had a day off work whch is always a bonus smile However, it was quite expensive, since I bought a new settee and armchair. The old furniture is on it last legs so needs to be replaced. biggrin Now a 9 week delay waiting for it to arrive. sad

Good morning all,

Ordered a table and chairs from Harveys in January, 10 to 12 weeks delivery, what is wrong with British manufacturing?

Cold day here in the midlands, spring can't be far away now tho!!

Have a good day

Re: .

Evening all

A damp day here and a little cooler.

I'm having some problems with my Internet connection which followed the local exchange being down for a few hours a week or so past. It comes and goes like a yo-yo.
They're supposed to be investigating and will ring me back tomorrow evening. It's all happened since the local exchange fell over in the middle of last week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I suspect they are manufactured in China - 6 weeks for the ship to arrive. sad

Re: .

Bright sunny Morning smile
+++++++++++++++
I bought a dinning set table and chairs prior to Christmas.
Ensuring before putting the cash on the counter that It was same day/week delivery ie they had the thing in stock .
If you had seen and approved the item in the flesh so to speak its possible that you could have got the same product , faster delivery on line?
A large firm like Harvey should hold stocks closer than the dark side of the moon , or have to wait for the chap with a cleft stick to run into the boon-docks to instruct some chap which tree to fell find a sharp Adze and set to shaping your dream table.

Suppose the writing was on the wall dealing with a six foot rabbit devilish

my set BTW was made in Vietnam
