And then there's the Lycra ![]() http://www.trackworldcup.co.uk/ I 'spect this is the event should be a grand "do" http://www.nationalcyclingcentre.com/ From the programme shown here they hold badminton events here as well Hope they have cleared up the Hors-Doo-Vers from the track before the bycylists arrive ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 4 times, last edit by densnaps at Feb 17, 2011 8:16:56 AM] |

And then there's the Lycra ![]() It's not Jack I have to impress - I don't think he could care less. It is my son-in-law (Gary), the one that wears Lycra himself!! Hence the trip up North with daughter, to watch others in their Lycra!! I think that is absolutely enough about about this subject!! Personally, I don't even like to think about the Lycra!! ![]() |

The only thing I know about German dentists is the one portrayed by Larry Olivier in the 1976 film Marathon man creepy guy .
----------------------------------------*************** I guess you have put me in my working class bracket I remember an aunt having all her teeth removed and Mum also had gnashers that lived in a glass overnight. Following in the family tradition I no longer visit the dentists, the tube of Sterident on the bathroom shelf tells all. I had a fear/hate of dentists since school days when a procedure to remove teeth from an overcrowded mouth went awry I came out of the gas anaesthetic fighting the Dr, Dentist and chairside nurse still retaining the teeth. Eventually I had the lot taken out and upper an lower set fitted the same day. cost on NHS £250 No more searching for NHS practises Round here as soon as you find one they go private and I wouldn't pay extra for the service . ref Merle's reply^^^ right making mental amendments to your family tree so I dont get it mixed up again...... ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Feb 17, 2011 9:00:13 AM] |

Hello all. Nice to see all bantering as usual.
Reminds me of the old couple lying in bed, she said " When we were young you used to bite my neck" He replied " Oh for Gods sake woman pass me teeth over, they're in the glass by the bed" |

Evening all
Still trying to get my Internet connection sorted. The female voice that answers the provider's phone merely takes details and says a technician will ring to sort it out. Fine but the last time that was said it was the last I heard. |

Den, now I am confused!! My 'putor' didn't go awol, it just packed up working (more or less)!! It is "my man" that mends it that went awol (on holiday if you please)! So I have struggled on with the remains of what is working, (not a lot, it would seem!), but it appears that my incoming and outgoing emails are ok. At least the incoming ones are - who knows if the outgoing ones are reaching their destination? I think I will now go and lie down in a darkened room!! ![]() |
