Re: The green green grass

Morning everyon. Have a great weekend!

smile Ditto...........

Just finished booking flights for jolly 'olliday, seemed cheap until started adding on the extras ie baggage, food, legroom, did manage to get free passage for wheelchair tho' (Monarch Airlines in case your interested).

Orf to sunny Cyprus again, this time for a longer spell, staying in village with our Greek friends whom never want us to leave when the the time comes around, truth is we don't want to leave either, they treat us as part of the family (we've met them all from Grandad to the youngest) they are so laid back in their life style (so different to the hustle and bustle of our lives in Blighty) that we totally rest and chillout.

Retirement when I return, apprehensive about it, finances are going to be the biggest worry but heyho I've done my bit for Queen and country these past 50 years, time to call it a day!!

Ranting again, sorry biggrin
Have a great weekend

Re: The green green grass

retirement? No such thing, theres more to do when you have "Retired" than you ever did at work! The big difference is of course, you dont get paid for it!

Good for you, Tony. Hopefully, the transition goes well for you. I've still got a fistful of years yet to wait for mine. Just a thought here on the finances...you could always bunk in with big brother and pool the resources. biggrin

Talking about retirement, I see there's been a mass exodus by my far western brethren. I'm feeling a bit naked over here as the last holdout from this side of the pond.
