....what is a banned subject? I thought 99.9999% of Brit conversation was the weather?

...you can tell me at the Book proof place...via PM, they have them there unlike here! Yep I will do that, but not just now. Have to dash out now to go and mind (and walk in the rain) my daughter's dog! It is only a 40 min. drive!!  |

Evening all
Damp is hardly the word for it today. I think we may soon be sliding down the hill. We have regular visits from a black cat (I guess his owners are out at work during the day and we have a cat flap} He doesn't get any food but comes and goes, liking the fact of a radiator during the cold spell. That's fine but today it's becoming a bit of a pain with wet paws coming through regularly during the day. |
