Been in the smoke for a lunch today. Le Café Anglais was the choice as part of one of the Newspaper offers. The FT in this case that limited the food of your guest to a fiver.

Can't say it was the best meal ever, but not bad and quite a few well known faces around presumably with account support.

It's still a bit chilly but at least dry with a touch of sun.

Well it didn't really come to much, sporadic rather than 'heavy' but by gum, it ain't 'alf parky out there!! Got a feeling the white stuff might appear again in the next day or two!

Any body tried to buy tiles lately? It is my impression that they have every size, every colour, or in my case every single shade of 'white' that exists, and none of them are exactly right!! I have a feeling that I am on the brink of a nasty nervous breakdown!!
