Hope you are all well, and that Evy still has her ears! yep ears are still present...probably because I don't use them all that much loads of snow these last few days which even though it was precisely and timely predicted, still managed to catch the authorities by surprise I can't say i'm looking forward to work tomorrow ![]() nope, work is over-rated. Looking forward to when I retire so I can put my feet up and do nothing all day! Only about Monday, as plane takes off for sunnier climes for my usual Christmas get away. (Believe me, I could do with a good holiday! )No snow down here. ![]() |

I was quite chuffed this morning 'cos the car only took about 5 minutes to de-snow, de-ice and get going. Uneventual shopping for a few 'bits', got home and signs of "sort-of" partial thaw. However, that lasted about 30 minutes and then the while stuff started falling from the sky again! Now the whole landscape is white again, nothing can be identified under it's white blanket and car has once again disappeared!!
I love my apartment, but I don't half miss my garage!! ![]() |

Evening all
All was clear here until about an hour ago and it was raining when I went to check on a neighbour's house, 'cause she's away in North Wales for the festivities. Then, about an hour ago it all changed and the cars have disappeared under their white blankets. As long as our Christmas meat and fish arrive from Scotland tomorrow as promised, we can stay snowed in if necessary. |

Hello Friends,
Sorry I've been out of the loop for the last 2 months, but I was ill and unable to crunch or access a PC. But I'm back and glad to see everyone doing well. We had about 20 inches of snow over the weekend. I guess if it's going to snow it's best when you really don't have to go anywhere. Anyway, we've dug out and the main roads are in pretty good shape. The problem is getting to the main roads from home. Take care and keep on Crunching. |
