Morning all
---------------------------------------- after thinking (silly me) that snow was A L L gorn yesterday just a few handfuls under hedge bottoms, mums folk lore used to state "waiting for some more" Went bed last night chilly but roads clear woken at 0130am by snowballs hitting front of house HO HO HO what nice neighbour hood I live in & aint those kiddies* just so cute.... Anyway it looks to be a repeat of Tuesday about 4 inches Going into work in a min or two dont expect any driving other than getting there just manning the telling bone... *Kiddies, 15/16 year olds who had some cousins staying over across the road ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Dec 24, 2009 6:41:31 AM] |

Morning all. Another 4 inches of snow overnight, which is going to make it difficult to get out of the village. I have to go to the Doctors this morning, and Thirsk this evening. Drive slow and careful is the order of the day, I hope others do the same.

Okay----If I mentioned Lancaster city centre was manic a couple of days ago I was telling porkies---
----------------------------------------TODAY all the wimmin from hell are in town 4x4 driven..... (no diss Merle some wimmin are rational around Christmas like they stay at home) Others feel the need to purchase exotic food such as almond covered reindeer steaks,sea cumber jelly mix & Holly croutons.(no to be honest I guess it the blokes whom the wife sent out for 25 gms of ginger ) and couldn't resist the above .. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hey but wat do I know about food preparation I just eat it mayhap it came as a surprise that Dec 25 was Christmas day  perhaps watching gov. plunker.com warped their minds Must away now kids mince pies to construct ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Dec 24, 2009 4:32:08 PM] |

Evening all
With several degrees increase in temperature and some tedding this morning the signs of winter have totally disappeared for the moment at any rate. Had to get the tree in from the back yard and leave it on a cover for some time to dry off before the expert here did the decorations early this afternoon. I just put the lights on. We had to take it in turns grating the horseradish to stop crying for the rest of the day. Now it's a quiet evening and a slow start to the morrow before we sit at the tree and hope that some of the parcels mean something as we open them slowly with a dribble of bubbly. Shall be thinking of all team members and will raise a glass to recognize our continued contribution to medical research; it's been a few years now eve if I wasn't in the same team. |
