the forecast was good and you went to church ? devilish

Hope you people have better governments!

assuming you talk about those short bouts of time when we actually have a government, my answer would have to be ...nope! cool

Yeah, I suppose there are no good governments (if they actually exist).

Oh, today we had quite a thunder storm. Lots of lightning and rain. I was out buying food at the local supermarket when all of a sudden there was a very bright light coming in from the windows in the ceiling and the sound was ear-deafening. All the cashiers got scared. Then when I went home I saw lots of hail on the ground, it looked like winter (even though august is supposed to be last month of summer here).

Probably not a big deal for a lot of you guys and gals but up here, we usually don't have such things happening in the summer. First time I've seen large amounts of hail on the ground during summer here.

Hope you all have better weather than this. Here, almost the whole summer has been cold and rainy (as usual). Gotta' save some money for next year to go some place warmer...

Well, good night from Sweden, folks!

@ acpartsman
my buddy/cousin in the USA from Rock island Illinois an open wheel racer
you might have come across
Sandy Bray used to do demos at major meets race number 69
has been racing since the 1940s
great mechanic spanner man
will dig some stuff out if you cant find him

Don't get to follow open wheel as much as I used to. That and some dirt is about the only forms of TRUE racing still left here. Can't say I've heard of Sandy, my son probably has. He's a walking racing encyclopedia.

I used to watch F1 and GTCC a lot until Damon Hill retired. Then I just stopped watching any of it. Now I just fiddle with my computers.

Y'all have a great weekend. cool

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Evening all

Another fine day here but after the weekly shop this morning I didn't feel like doing anything active so had a doze instead.

Yes, overtaking in F1 is still a problem which means wheel to wheel is relatively rare. The technical changes for this year were supposed to solve some of the problems of losing grip when close to the rear of another car, but it seems to have made little difference.

I always thought there was much more overtaking in NASCAR but I haven't seen any for some years not being prepared to pay for the television channels.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

Hey all!

i've still got WU's that seem to stand in my queue saying 'waiting to report' forever but since in the end they always go through I guess i'll give up trying to force them worried

also when it comes to the forums, the last-post button doesn't seem to take me right to the last post. For example now it looks like the last post was ted from early morning yesterday shock

anyways...nothing to worry about too much
sunny over here, promised to be warm... off to a flea market to buy vinyl records cool

Morning all.
Evy, last post takes you to the last page, you have to scan down to last post, it gives you a chance to read what others have written!
Updates do take forever sometimes, but they do eventually go, its not a problem unless you have run out of work, which so far, touch wood, has never happened to me.
