Hope he'll be released soon in better condition than they took him in. My seven south birches and the one unusually pretty north one are all dressed for their debutante ball, wafting their skirts in a medium breeze with medium sun and medium cloudyness  |

From the rumor mill:
John's stroke happened at the hospital Thursday as he was about to have a planned procedure carried out. He went home the day after, where his wife who is a nurse has taken care of him. Today she intended to apply and arrange for rehab for John to regain the abilities that suffered. |

This will be cross posted to the 'What are you listening to' thread
I just learned that my city will have a Blues Festival come November. One of the performers will be the owner of the Chicago joint where Guitarman alias John Morley performed on his whirlwind tour of the USA in 2011. Fever I'm quoting Guitarman's son: "He is generally well although his memory is worse, his left side has been affected, he can still walk but it is much more difficult he lacks strength and coordination in his left arm and leg however you'll all be pleased to hear that his sense of humour remains. He is due to be discharged on Wednesday, not a day before.....despite what he says." All my best ♥ |

- the perfect morning. Just enough of a breeze to make the shiny birch leaves quiver and send glimpses of smiles to everybody in all directions. It is the last days of their perfect green. Now it's on to the practical - being the factory for growing the trees bigger and making ready to send their seeds everywhere inclusive of my home - no, I don't mind I call them 'birkes' - nobody else does - name for birch being 'birk' - 'birkes' being the name for the poppy seeds we sprinkle on our morning rolls - 'birkes' being seeds the way in the way the birch seeds are seeds. Nobody here has understood this before. They give me a sideways look. I know you will .... Guitarman is home. He communicates in his normal harsh way  Here's your honorary badge, John  |
