If you're still using Windows 7, stick with it, 10 isn't much better than 8 and it's a huge resource hog, They forced it on me at work. It (10) uses 6 of my 16 gb of ram just sitting idle. Needless to say when I'm actually using the computer I have performance issues (Core i7) My machine is the newest, fastest one in the building, even faster than the server but thanks to 10 it crawls. The old P4 1.6ghz 1.5gb ram running XP will run circles around my 10 machine.
----------------------------------------8 and 10 were obviously designed by a bunch of geeks that do nothing but sit around all day with their tablets and convertibles and come up with crap like this. They'll never understand that in the real world (especially the business world) touch screens will never be practical and in many cases have no use at all.

Thanks for the update on Win 10 I'm holding fire on any up grade to my machines win 8.1 two machine and Win 7 on three others which do the things I ask of them

No floods in our house hold but the city had major floods businesses wrecked roads closed power outages

Thanks for the update on Win 10 I'm holding fire on any up grade to my machines win 8.1 two machine and Win 7 on three others which do the things I ask of them If you have 8 and like it then you'll like 10.

I'm afraid that I have some rather sad news about an ex-member of this team- Baron Samedi.

Perhaps you have already heard in a different way, you can email it as not sent consider. Now and then I see a 'guest' paying a visit this thread which used to be a favorite of mine.
I reported on how the birch trees outside my window were doing as a sort of weather report, and you replied with how it looked in your end. Right now they wear no leaves, and even the thinnest of twigs don't move. It's a sad knowledge for me that Scribe is not here any more. Who else may be ghosting in this special British castle? |
