Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 29 smilesmile

If you can boot it up Dave, I think you are going to really like it. Was just joking on canceling your order. But what an ordeal. It just finished 4 FAAH jobs ... LOOKING GOOD. biggrin Better stat's tomorrow.

Sure hope so! Can't afford anybody else's quad yet. Mine is in drop ship status at the moment. The KVM switch has shipped (at least UPS has been notified). Will have help from a couple of my sons when it comes to getting it up and running. Third son is DP manager at a shp with a few AS400's and a bunch of PC's. His PC knowledge has bailed me out a few times. Hope we have better luck than you have had. Glad you got it up and running.

Feel free to write and maybe Blizzie, me, or Keith (not DATAMAN though) can help you if you need it.

Oh -- that was an unsaid resource -- always can count on MOT!

Brr -- I need that quad to heat this place up!

05:21 49.9 °F / 9.9 °C

There are also signs of color in the leaves now and there still is time before sunrise for the temp to drop a bit more!

Later -- it got down to 49.3 °F about 6:30 before starting to climb with daylight. That quad will be a nice little space heater laughing

Yeah, if Keith is really getting 3 more quads, we're done for Blizzie!

I can see more schooling is needed laughing

Not much data to work with yet ... and the run times are an hour apart. Need more results to compare. I was hoping for something better than that though. sad

Good morning MOT. Almost chilly here this morning. 51.9F.

Blueprint reached 500,000 points

Way to go Marc!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, but I'm about to drop off the radar for a week or so as the only points i'll be getting are those in pending, and from the P4s. The new core duo pc is driving me up the wall: it sponteneously shut off and won't start again. Unfortunately I dont have any spare time to attempt fixing it until the weekend as I have a huuuge amount of university work and assignments due soon.

Have a good day/night everyone :)

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 29 smilesmile

angry I'm getting messages this morning that I need to activate Vista. angry I tried and it fails because the product key is in use. angry I guess the recovery disk didn't work either.

I'm boxing it up and sending it back to TD today and then filing a "formal" complaint about IBP with TD and Microsoft. When TD credits my account, I will buy a new one from a "reputable" company. angry

Wow! Sorry to hear that (especially since I have one on the way). I hope your complaints bear fruit. It looks like this has been a problem for at least one other person as reported in their forums here. Unfortunately the guy doesn't say what fixed it for him.

biggrin OK, now I am really, Really, REALLY, REALLY impressed with Tiger Direct. I called them to see what my return options were. Asked for a supervisor. Seems one of my options was for them to take care of the problem with the manufacturer. Within the half hour, I got an email with a new product key. I am now activated!!! biggrin I guess Tiger Direct DOES NOT have to wait in IBP's call queue. laughing biggrin laughing biggrin laughing biggrin TD will be getting more of my business!!!! IBP will not.

biggrin

Great to hear they got it resolved. I've been buying from TigerDirect for a while now, but never had to go to their customer service. What contacts I have had with them have been with their sales department and they have been super to work with. I guess that's why they have $3400 or so of my money over the past year!
