can someone explain the credit assignments of this WU to me?

I certainly don't seem to understand how this was derived.

TIA

[puts on the user friendly, but firm rule head]

1. your question is off topic to the thread, entirely: FA@H Single Redundancy Change. New thread or hook on to a pre-existing one for instance in the BOINC support forum.

[keeps on the user friendly, but firm rule head]

2. Plz Read the FAQs to learn about terms and the credit assignment logic... that's why we make them so you can read them at your own pace without risking information overload ;>)

Re: FA@H Single Redundancy Change

Thanx for the update, Kevin!

More than 32,000 is quite a lot... Do you think, it's realistic, that the switch will be done on the coming weekend...???

Re: FA@H Single Redundancy Change

totto73, on yesterday's basis that is only two days of work, without having started to mobilize the terrific "reliable/fast returner" force. Imagine when that will be done, you will be surprised. Rather than being behind schedule I am more expecting complaints from members who will not get what they think is their fair share of emergency WUs. smile

Relax and watch the stampede**. Jean.

I have 8 FAAH pending validation, they all say "Initial Replication 3" (normally 2), but they only have 2 workunits each.

Why is that?

Edit - I guess I need to be more patient, they're now "waiting to be sent", waiting for "reliable" machines I suppose.

Re: FA@H Single Redundancy Change

It's Mystique to me. Earlier Today a No Reply 2 day deadline copy gets sent and today I get copy 3 with 3 days, happy awaiting it's turn in the queue, no high priority kick since the client knows there's space to spare. Sort of hope that the one due on the 29th is rush processed and my client gets told by the server not to start the job after all. Close call.

Re: FA@H Single Redundancy Change

Suspend the job as quorum is complete. Hope you have not started it yet. Not 100% but suspect there will be a cancel/abort instruction if you hit update in the project tab of your client.

Let us know
