Some of us don't feel right about crunching for rice industry profits. It's about having a choice, simple. Yes, Im thinking also. After more information about rice industry, i stopped the crunching for Nutritious Rice. God bless you, loonym http://www.greenpeace.de/themen/patente/konze...te_monopol_fuer_konzerne/ [Edit 7 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 22, 2008 7:12:03 AM] |

I thought WCG was about caring and sharing Well said! (And that silly question about smoking...? What was THAT about?!) I know people can be caring but clumsy in their expression. Then again, some might be just clumsy... That's why I don't visit forums anymore. And I've stopped crunching, too. But that's a different story. And things CAN be changed for the better even without computers... All the best to everyone. |

How you must enjoy her....what a gift. You sure have made a lot of friends on the internet. O. . And every time I read your comments it reinforces my feelings that there truly are good people with caring hearts on the Net. There is an open invitation to you for dinner here if you ever find yourself in New England. ![]() |

As stated previously, we will review the auto "opt-in" feature prior to our next project launch. Thank you for listening. |

Taking away the participants control re project selection is extremely poor form in my view. It shows a disregard for the userbase and can only have a negative effect on WCG as a whole. Projects are meant to take the views of the contributors onboard..........not dictate to them. Not much point you having a forum is the views of the contributors are null. I must say there are smaller projects around that could teach this behemoth project a thing or two about project management and etiquette. Project expansion is to be applauded but dictatorship of folks resources is just plain wrong. I wish that I could have said it that well vaio. I would like to add one thing. There are a couple of CAs here that shouldn't be allowed to post in these forums at all, much less be CAs. Very true my friend, very true. My best to you loonym. |

Are WCG crunchers the most intolerant on earth?
I`ve never seen so many edited posts on one thread in my life! I`m a forum moderator myself for my own team, and have yet had to delete or edit a post, other than from spammers. Could it be that the WCG mods have too much time on their hands? |

Are WCG crunchers the most intolerant on earth? I`ve never seen so many edited posts on one thread in my life! I`m a forum moderator myself for my own team, and have yet had to delete or edit a post, other than from spammers. Could it be that the WCG mods have too much time on their hands? Passions my friend. In this case some on both sides and some that didn't make sense to me. The bottom line is that in this case WCG acted, they added an auto opt in checkbox and IMO that was the right thing to do so the issue is settled and hopefully everyone is happy.. ![]() |
