OK, I have just checked the crt file, it is valid till July 2009.
How comes I am still getting the problem? This only happens on BOINCpe machines. Regular windows machines with harddrives do not have this problem. |

A pity you didn't mention that before, or perhaps we could have solved this sooner.
For my convenience, please will you provide a full message log from BOINC startup to after the first error? Thank you. |

I am sorry, I just realized how to check the CRT file for expiration date. As stated above, it does not expire until june 2009.
The following is my BOINC log right after I added WCG project: 2/29/2008 7:38:17 PM||Fetching configuration file from http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/get_project_config.php 2/29/2008 7:38:30 PM|World Community Grid|Master file download succeeded 2/29/2008 7:38:35 PM|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Project initialization. Requesting 1 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks 2/29/2008 7:38:37 PM||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 2/29/2008 7:38:38 PM||Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down. 2/29/2008 7:38:40 PM|World Community Grid|Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates Again, this ONLY happens when I use BOINCpe. It runs OK when I have it on Windows XP on a harddrive. |

I don't have time to get into this today.
Please remind me if I don't respond in a day or two. |

Hi chungenhung!
----------------------------------------While waiting for Didactylos you might have a look at your clock settings. I see in your log that you run at UTC+0. No problem with that except than, then, you should not be able to show a log of events starting at 12:18 AM UTC on March 19 in a message posted at 9:20 PM UTC on March 18. Those certificate matters are often related to date/time discrepancies and I wonder if that could not be the case for you. Cheers. Jean. |

Do you use BOINC PE? It will help if you can provide a similar log to chungenhung's.
Thank you. |

Far-fetched I wonder, B: drive and reading around if understood correctly running BOINCPe off a 256mb Ram Drive if the time-stamp itself is an issue: mine is 14/7/2007 11:00 on the HD. Has this undressed 'windows-xp' all the security elements?
----------------------------------------Posted this link a while before http://blog.schreiter.info/boincpe-livecd-for-boinc/ but no one actually ever reporting a working BOINCPe with WCG.
