thanks for the heads up, Ady As Scribbles has pointed out, the overall WCG stat sigs from DCStat appear to be borked - mine is out too, it is showing the same as Scribe's when it should be around 23M. Dave/Keith - are your custom made MOT ones via DCStat too? I have posted a thread over at the DC Zone in the DCStat section about it HERE for Pinky to have a look  Well know fact at DC Zone....if anything goes wrong...it's PiNkY's fault........    related question, that probably should go in a separate thread  but i figure plenty of people read this one and you're somewhat on the topic.  does anyone know if they ever got around to adding xml statistics that will give me EVERYONE's stats in one go?  as opposed to querying for every individual user. i skimmed a bit and read that they did add a bit more xml functionality, just not sure how much...  i know it's available for boinc stats, but am looking for one with regular wcg stats...as this may help fix the issue i'm coming across. If you are interested in learning more, please see the FAQ that explains how to get the XML version. The FAQ has this: Do you have an XML interface for the statistics? XML is a standard used on the internet that allows data to be shared in a standardized, but flexible method. In the past, members have extracted information from the public statistics pages by parsing the HTML on those pages and storing it in a database for uses such as display stats for their team on their Team website. This will be easier to do now that an XML interface is available for most of the public statistics pages. You can obtain an XML version for most of the public statistics pages by simply adding either "?xml=true" if there are no other parameters in the URL or "&xml=true" if there already are parameters on the URL for the page. Alternatively, you can view the XML page and follow the references provided on that XML document to go to locate pages that are in XML format. Hope that helps! |

Hey Blizzie, which Intel processor do you recommend for the money? A quad or a core2 duo. Some of the benchmarking shows that some core2duo's are actually faster than quads. Also, what motherboard do you recommend? I want to be able to overclock if I want, but more importantly, I want to insure there will be no compatibility issues if I choose to upgrade instead. Jonathan, Blizzie is clearly the expert on this but the information I've gotten says that current Intel quads are actually two Core2duo's on the same chip and not true quads, that AMD quads are true quads. ----------------------------------------Sorry about that Blizzie...trying to work out what's happened. Whatever changes were made to the xml feed here seems to be affecting the stat processing. I'm getting "An error occurred processing the feed." from WCG for quite a few people. I'm not quite sure what that translates to though, as the process has been working fine for some, but not others, and had worked fine up until recently.
