I had Theakston's Old Peculiar when I went to school in Scotland. It's not too shabby, but I prefer Dark Island Ale (from some bumblef*** island like Wales or some other nonsense). That and Young's Double Chocolate Stout. And anything imperial and russian and over 9% alcohol by volume. From the basket sorry John didn't mean to imply that there was any thing wrong with Yorkshire oh contrary Just a jest for all those that will never taste "Owld Peculier " feel sorry for them any way up Den Quixoté el inglés loco didn't get his nick from drinking dandylion & burdock ![]() Hey watch your lips--i am of Welch decent and its not a island ![]() Depends on which part of Wales. In north wales is the Isle of Anglesea and its welsh decent ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Jan 26, 2008 9:17:16 PM] |
