Many people in the US complain about those outrageous public debt figures. But those who make the laws and those who spend the public funds can't stop spending more than is there.

Cheers ![]() If our politicians had to answer to an audit dept same as someone spending money with any corporation in the world, no country would be in debt. When people are allowed to vote themselves above the laws of the country then it's only a matter of time before that country falls.

Well, I shall be a little more humble than Trish Regan with her knowledge about Denmark
- who really has put herself - and her employer - in the dog house in Denmark and admit that national economy is not my peak skill. But I know that the more you owe as a person or a country the more vulnerable you are. NixChix, how nice of you to bring treats for the puppy. Do you have a dog or other pet yourself? Do any of you Base Campers? ![]() Good Afternoon Base Campers I could copy what I wrote yesterday – well, TLD, I agree with your thoughts, we shall not have treks of this length any more. – Our Base Camp GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION trek will be the last lasting one month. – Our production with MOT is very stable. This is the runtime graph which stefada seems to prefer. We offer this nice badge to any cruncher who will join this trek with MOT and donate as little as one WU. Where else will you be able to get a badge like that at such a reasonable price? ♥ Willkommen ♥ Bienvenue ♥ Welcome ♥ - taking a lot of my time these days is planning of a trip to Berlin, Germany, in about a month. I have been there several times but only seen a tiny fraction of what is available - and I have a large appetite ![]() |

acpartsman,
If our politicians had to answer to an audit dept same as someone spending money with any corporation in the world, no country would be in debt. ---------- It is the same in all countries (to different proportions), so much so that they buy their debts between them, to 'limit the damage'. But we are more and more aware that the 'world of money' is not everything. You only have to see the number of people attending the WCG, everywhere. (And I would not say anything more, that I'm not here to do politics). ---------- What was it like candy for the dog? Just out of curiosity, I love them (dogs, not their cookies, of course). Mine continues to amaze me, so much he eats everything if it comes from my plate or my hand. Some time ago, I dropped a piece of chilli pepper quite strong (I would say 6/10 for the spicy, knowing that I was in Chile and I love it). I was a little afraid, that even if I cook spicy, I pay attention that in his part it is less. He stayed by the side wagging his tail, like "go daddy, finish eating and give me your left"! He also eats salad (you've all seen the picture where he throws himself on it, before having a nem?), Beetroot, cabbage, etc. The only thing he does not like is the melon. And the grapes, he does not eat it, but plays with it as if it were a ball. But when you have to give him medicine (it happens, unfortunately), what is it convenient! "Indy, sit down!" And presto, he swallows. At the moment, I realize that he loves tapas (before he always ate after me - the pack principle), now sometimes I make some 'gaps'. Maybe even more than his cakes or his 'toothpaste' (cakes express to clean their teeth). But does he really like, or is he very happy to share? I often ask myself the question. ---------- For graphs, it seems to me that it is the most representative / relevant, the calculation time. To take a simple example: At this moment, I'm trying to 'catch' (Pokemon joke, catch them all) the emerald badges MCM and Zika. I need about 7.5 / 8H for MCM, and 1.5 / 2H for Zika. I 'fell' to about thirty results a day, while my record is a little over 120. The number of points, just do only Ebola, and we explode all the scores! (lived without doing it on purpose) The calculation time is rather stable. About 8 days a day, modulo the WU awaiting validation. ![]() |
