little mermaid,
----------- I avoid singing, the last time there were problems ... But I could speak Japanese in Louloup, if I knew more word than "aligato" ( ありがとう). Tank's. As you could talk to him in Danish, I'd just have to show you the gestures so that he understands the translation. acpartsman, Vos lignes ne sont pas enterrées ? -------- Your lines are not buried? In France, they are almost all now. (There are still places where it's not possible) It's an investment, but at the maintenance level, there is everything to gain. And I'm lucky, that optical fiber comes 50m from my home, for the post office. Yet I live in the countryside. ![]() |

Oh, you translate Japanese and Danish to Louloup with sign language, stefada
He must be just about the smartest dog in all of the world I would also be fined if I sang .... never do it if there are people - especially police - aroundGood Morning Base Campers We are the same crew at our present trek with MOT as yesterday. I took a look at the stats for the challenges, Captain keithhenry has entered his team into for this month. Strangely - to me - we lag behind team Andrax as a combined MOT team/Base Camp crew. I also noticed that Crunchers4Life is doing very well in those same challenges. Our present Captain keithhenry had a breakdown of the machine on which he runs the stats, and he'll have to revive that machine or rewrite the directions so he can run the stats on another one. There are many ways in which to avoid declaring a defeat I wish all of you visiting here a pleasant weekend |

Need to find a way to get some of that water to fields! Yes! It's right there at the foot of the hill! Pumps! Well, they are harvested now some two weeks earlier than normal. Worse with one particular lawn looking that way, which has worried my hairdresser to tears for weeks on end. That of her dad's garden where she's getting married today. No way could she be married on a yellow/brown lawn, and I have no doubt that she has made dad turn up the faucet. As opposed to the USA we may have these yellow/brow lawns (except for wedding occasions). We regard it immoral to water lawns ... |

Correct, the majority of our power grid and all of it in rural areas is above ground and to make it worse they do not remove all trees capable of falling on the lines. They're more concerned with the ones growing beneath them. As long as nothing is within 15 feet of the lines, they don't bother with it.

Little Mermaid,
---------- In fact, for almost everything I ask Louloup, there is a gesture that is associated. On the one hand, it makes learning easier, but it is also very convenient to be able to communicate in silence (or when there is too much noise). And then, on occasion I am amused to say to him "go around & sit", with just the two gestures, and he goes around everyone to sit at my feet. It's very funny, especially when I asked him discreetly. (I'm often asked to do it again, to be sure it's not bluffing )For example, to teach him to sit down, at the beginning I was doing this gesture all the time saying "assis". Once he assimilated, I was doing only one or the other. Then I taught him "sit" by doing the same thing. The sounds are close, the same gesture shows him that it is the same request, in a few days he learned the English word. And now we can either make the gesture, or say "assis" or "sit". If tomorrow you say to him sitting in Danish, or in any language, making the gesture, he will very quickly understand that this word means sitting. As there is a gesture for almost everything, if we know this 'sign language' between him and me, no matter what language is used. He will very quickly understand that such a new word corresponds to such a request. Of course, he is more at ease with French, than it is my usual language, but he is used to learning new words, which I often speak to him in foreign languages. It is primarily a game, but it is also a way to stimulate it, a Malinois needs to 'work' (to spend and think). And he even manages to understand some subtleties! For example, if I say "Achtung" (German), with the intonation, he knows that it is "Attention", but at a higher level, I start to get upset. Similarly, if I say "Andiamo" (Italian), he knows it's "go", but in cool mode, we're relaxed. So I think he would have no trouble learning Danish, or Japanese, or any language (He does it better than me). acpartsman, C'est vraiment dommage pour vous ! ---------- It's really a shame for you! But the implementation of an underground network, it is very expensive! (In investment, it is profitable given the little breakdown) I know that in France it was possible, only because we had EDF (Electricity of France) which was a national company. And it took about a decade to bury all the main lines. With a country the size of the USA, I do not dare to imagine the budget that it can represent. When I see that in a 'small' country like France, there are villages that have ADSL only for 3/4 years? At your home, where everything is so big ... ![]() |

---------- Too bad I can not translate this song. You would understand immediately what it is to be Breton. ![]() |
