Good Morning Base Campers!

Est-ce qu'il ne fait pas trop chaud ? Louloup ne veut même plus aller dans la rivière.
Un four sans aucune flamme, et un minimum d'équipement. Il nous faut un bol en verre, et deux saladiers en verre un peu plus grands, pour faire trois épaisseurs. Du Soleil, et on peut faire cuire ce qu'on veut. Et on n'a même pas le risque d'avoir du feu ! Il est envisageable que j'ai déjà fait du camping ? --------- Is not it too hot? Louloup does not even want to go to the river anymore. An oven without any flame, and a minimum of equipment. We need a glass bowl, and two glass bowls a little larger, to make three thicknesses. From the Sun, and we can cook what we want. And we do not even have the risk of having fire! It is conceivable that I have already been camping? |

Yes, I believe you are an experienced camper, stefada.
I think we can survive on cold food. Salads, bread, sausages, fruit ... and cheese! The camp fire would be for hygge. You cannot do that in a triple glass bowl, can you?  Do you have very hot weather? I would have thought that it would be an incentive for Louloup to swim in the river  Isn't that water cool? Tessa's fur needs a trim badly, and she has an appointment on Monday. But she does her 45 minutes fast walk bravely - mornings are best these days, cooler. When I unleash her at home she almost topples Downstairs Grethe on her way to the water bowl. |

Vous savez qu'en concentrant les rayons du Soleil sur une loupe, on peut allumer un feu ?
Une feuille de papier, ou de la paille, c'est vite fait. Même avec une paire lunettes si on a rien d'autre. Le four solaire, en mode simple comme je l'ai expliqué, c'est le même principe. Sauf que ça ne fait que concentrer la chaleur, sans aucune combustion. Vous avez déjà essayé de vous faire un œuf dur, juste en mettant trois bols de verres renversés dessus ? Ou un café chaud ? ---------- You know that by concentrating the sun's rays on a magnifying glass, you can light a fire? A sheet of paper, or straw, is fast. Even with a pair of glasses if you have nothing else. The solar oven, in simple mode as I explained, is the same principle. Except that it only concentrates the heat, without any combustion. Ever tried to make a boiled egg just by putting three bowls of spilled glasses on it? Or a hot coffee? |

No, stefada, but I was stupid enough to learn the hard way - a burn mark on my hand - very powerful, indeed  I'm afraid a few ants got cremated in the process, too ....Physics experiment gone realistic  Eric_Kaiser, so far it's only you and me but already top40.nl just passed Korea in the LLBXS78835 challenge ending today Let's keep dancing while we have the entire floor to ourselves   |

Welcome acpartsman I hope you'll stay and celebrate 4th of July here before taking care of other issues you may have planned Eric_Kaiser, it seems as if the two of us have to switch over to another dance "Den toppede høne" 'The Hen with a Top on Its Head"  sorry, but that's the titlereally - the text goes: 'Long enough have I been a farmer girl ....' It looks easy, but it isn't  Inevitably the three dancers will get tangled into each other ........  |

C'est juste de la physique Litlle Mermaid. Il n'y a aucun danger, j'ai appris à faire un four solaire comme ça, j'avais dix ans. Et notre institrutrice ne nous aurait pas fait prendre de risque. J'ai juste oublié de vous dire, que si on emballe l’œuf dans du papier noir, ça va plus vite. (Le noir n'étant pas une couleur, il absorbe tous les rayons).

Yes, stefada, I trust you to boil eggs in black paper,
but most of all I trust you to assist at our camp fire which has to be a real, live camp fire to create the right mood in the velvet night and attract hungry Dutch mosquitos  or better: Scare them away. Good Morning Base Campers! We stick to our quadrille. No new Base Campers have arrived since yesterday. We do have an impressive graph as acpartsman predicted: The Run Time one: Besides the Small Team Rally is up and running and after the first day, we have these encouraging results: 1 Team Andrax 3,816 2 top40.nl 3,661 3 Chinese Dream 3,019 4 MyOnlineTeam 1,638 If Eric_Kaiser had chosen to crunch with Team Andrax where he often lives, it would have been a different story.
