Another question, Anne-Lise, do you have Facebook Lite on your phone? I have some Facebook on the phone.Never used it there, tough. Why? They want to know everything about you, even your nudity selfies. How do I see whether it's klein of zwaar? If you have it installed and never use it, I'd suggest to remove it altogether as it will compromise your privacy as much as they can. Just by installing the app you're already giving up your privacy by giving away your location. How can you see if it's Lite or not? You can't see it in an easy way (until you're using it). My strong recommendation is to use F-Droid (it's a free, open source alternative to Google Play Store, it's a software repository) where you can find the alternative app Tinfoil for Facebook. |

My blood pressure is closely monitored. I check it morning and evening three times each for three days every three months or more if needed and make an average and note the spread as well. It has indeed gone up since I started the Vagifem, so as per my consultation with my doctor on the six days ago my dosage of anti ... what do you call it ... pressureloweringmedicine was doubled. Vagifem? That's asking for problems if you have high blood pressure. Considering the problems you have now with your leg, it's most likely a result of using this medicine. If you are having (severe) menopausal symptoms, you'll have to consider this is a natural process for a woman and there are all kinds of other ways instead of taking the 'easy' way of taking a medicine. Using Vagifem creates the problem of high blood pressure, which in this case creates leg problems, which will result in problems with the veins in your legs and this may result in problems with your heart. Don't get me wrong, menopausal symptoms can be severe, but now it looks - to me - as if the medicine you are taking is far more worse than the original problem. There have to be other ways solving your problem. We have consultants in the Netherlands for menopausal symptoms. Could you see if there are people like that in your country? EDIT: blood pressure→high blood pressure EDIT: poroblems→problems [Edit 2 times, last edit by adriverhoef at Dec 26, 2017 6:45:57 PM] |

I never asked for Vagifem for menopausal discomfort.
----------------------------------------I suffered my hot flushes with no complaining. It was rather pushed on a very reluctant me. I think this explains some EDIT: I think Google translate flunked and I bought it. Isn't it called hot 'flashes'? ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 26, 2017 7:37:39 PM] |

I have read your post from one month ago, Anne-Lise, and I'm really baffled. Sorry to have to say this: the prescription of Vagifem to you is ridiculous. You're a woman that suffered from breastcancer and you have been prescribed Tamoxifen in the past. Tamoxifen inhibits the growth of estrogen-sensitive tumours. Vagifem is a female sex-hormone, namely an estrogen. With a history of breast cancer of an estrogen-sensitive tumour it's certainly not recommended to use a medicine like Vagifem. According to what you explained so far you are suffering from late side-effects of your chemotherapy. So, you should see a specialized doctor in late side-effects of radiology, chemotherapy and lymphnodes-removal. Moreover I would suggest to immediately stop taking Vagifem.
You will probably still be able to produce a little bit of estrogen because they didn't remove your Fallopian tubes and your omentum. The Letrozol will have reduced the amount of estrogen, but it's more than likely that there is still some estrogen left in the Fallopian tubes and omentum. As this kind of chemotherapy can result in a very high risk of osteoporosis, you should take vitamin D +and calcium and go out and find the sun (at daytime ![]() |

They want to know everything about you, even your nudity selfies. Yes. They are very curious. That's why it's free. It's you and me and everybody else who is the product. Nudity selfies? At their own risk ![]() ... I'd suggest to remove it altogether as it will compromise your privacy as much as they can. Just by installing the app you're already giving up your privacy by giving away your location. Done that. I was a little surprised that it was possible. I find that many of the things that come with one's phone are non-uninstallable. Also you can have difficulties limiting the permissions you give many apps - or rather they have given themselves. I have made a note about the F-Droid Google Play Store substitute in my calendar - you see all these entities already have a firm grip on me - so that I can install that when I have Saphir12-Nathalie back from Sweden and have restored Mr Jones who will hate to be turned into a silly phone again... ... where you can find the alternative app Tinfoil for Facebook. I need no Facebook on my phone. I'm very pleased that you nudged me to uninstall it, Adri. Thank you ![]() |

![]() How do you manage to read the green and the red text I'm using for Christmas? I'll turn back into navy and red tomorrow. Is the red difficult? I try to use it in small quantities, but can eliminate it if necessary. |

I have read your post from one month ago, Anne-Lise, and I'm really baffled. Sorry to have to say this: the prescription of Vagifem to you is ridiculous. Yes. And I have been skeptical all the time and looked the doctor and the gynecologist deep in their eyes in order to gauge them. You're a woman that suffered from breastcancer and you have been prescribed Tamoxifen in the past. Tamoxifen inhibits the growth of estrogen-sensitive tumours. Vagifem is a female sex-hormone, namely an estrogen. Yes, I'm aware of that, and that's the reason why I rejected it one year ago. This time I chose to try it but with a wide open skepticism which was warrented. They have reduced the quantity of estradiol from 25 mg to 10 mg I believe it was not all that long ago, possibly because they want to limit their risk of law suits in the USA where it might be a possibility, although I think it has been on the market for a long time. It is made in Denmark, by the way. With a history of breast cancer of an estrogen-sensitive tumour it's certainly not recommended to use a medicine like Vagifem. That's true. But since I'm an old heron I thought that the benefits could outweigh the tegenslag. I took them with the benefit of the doubt - they might do the job intended, but as mentioned a wide open skepticism, too. However, I had not imagined that my entire body would protest this violently. I took them for less than three months. According to what you explained so far you are suffering from late side-effects of your chemotherapy. I hope not, Adri. I did not get chemotherapy. Only the cut and burn. You know that's what it's called, right? Cut, burn and poison. I was lucky that I discovered it so early thanks to a tiny shadow from an indention. Also: You always are told to be on guard toward lumps. Only within the last six months have I read about indentions. So, you should see a specialized doctor in late side-effects of radiology, chemotherapy and lymphnodes-removal. Moreover I would suggest to immediately stop taking Vagifem. Maybe you're right. I stopped taking them November 6th - started August 12. All that info they were interested in when I filed my report to the sideeffectsauthority. You will probably still be able to produce a little bit of estrogen because they didn't remove your Fallopian tubes and your omentum. The Letrozol will have reduced the amount of estrogen, but it's more than likely that there is still some estrogen left in the Fallopian tubes and omentum. How have you got to know all this, Adri?As this kind of chemotherapy can result in a very high risk of osteoporosis, you should take vitamin D +and calcium and go out and find the sun (at daytime I have fine bones. My mother suffered badly from osteoporosis, and a doctor seeing her not long before she died, was kind enough to ask if I had been scanned, so I have been scanned with regular intervals since 2001. ![]() Did they ever measure your bone-density? Yes. And this summer they declared osteopeni in spite of me doing my best to eat cheese, drink milk, engage in weightbearing activities, especially walking.. So now I can have my calcium&vitaminDs prescribed at a better price. How is your health, Adri? |

According to what you explained so far you are suffering from late side-effects of your chemotherapy. I hope not, Adri. I did not get chemotherapy.![]() It's a good thing that you stopped with Vagifem, Anne-Lise. Now, it could take a long time before the Vagifem is out of your system, that's the trouble with hormones. How have you got to know all this, Adri? I have someone here very dear to me who lost two husbands due to lungcancer and she herself suffered from Fallopian tubes-cancer fifteen years ago; she is a moderator of a Dutch internetforum on issues with cancer and she takes part in WCG, too. She is assisting me in answering your posts in this special case. Because of her former workcircles she has a more than average interest in and knowledge of medical affairs. How is your health, Adri? Besides me wearing 'sexy' compression stockings I'm just fine, Anne-Lise. |
