Good Morning Base Campers!
Our graphs looks very good: Just to give you an idea, this is the runtime one: - and it gets better from here Challenges – both of them will end tomorrow Christmas 2017 Race I could hardly believe my own eyes: We are #10! We gained almost 1 mio points over SeriousCrunchers overnight. Vulture Central III (the one I thouvht we would never reach, let alone pass) is now squeezed between us and SeriousCrunchers who sits on a the hotelwise nice #12 with Kraland right behind them but probably no threat to them at #13 Kraland IV Challenge We are still #2 and far in front of SeriousCrunchers. Kraland keeps their nice #5 far in front of Chicago-IL-USA. No doubt PecosRiverM made a huge difference when he let loose his crunchers (normally confined to a 10 x 18 man cave – I believe the measure unit is foot) to let them play with Punchy@BC’s four little dogs. As things stand now, I almost feel it was good that tanner2 fell by the wayside on his way to us. After all he showed with his French visit to top40.nl that he CAN find his way. I know it’s early, but we can with a very good conscience take our traditional Danish Christmas dinner to be served in the state room of Grand Hotel. We have either a pork loin roast or roast duck. Most have both. We roast them with prunes and make gravy with the juice from the steak. As for the trimmings we have plain boiled potatoes – on this day called ’white potatoes’ to distinguish them from the brown ones. They are small ones that are caramelized in a sugar/butter melt. We also have red cabbage prepared with red currant juice and vinegar and cooked to death. It all looks like this A very neat thing is the apples . Peeled and halved and boiled in a sugar brine and served alongside the roast with red currant jelly in the middle. For dessert we have rice à l’amande. I have served this for you earlier as a take-out from my first theatre night, but in case you forgot: Rice porridge made airy with whipped cream and chopped almonds mixed in with a warm cherry sauce to go with it. Red and white as our flag After dinner we join hands and dance in a circle aound our Christmas tree and sing Christmas hymns and songs .  |
