I can't say I thought it the most exciting race as it was as much the effort of keeping the car on the track as anything else.
I do, however, find it very refreshing that we no longer know which team is actually going to come out on top and it's not longer looking at two top teams fighting it out and the rest looking for the crumbs. Who would have thought last year that Red Bull would be outperforming Ferrari and McLaren; great stuff. I wouldn't like to place a bet this year on which team or which driver is going to be top of the ratings come October. |

Have you ever tried it? If so did it turn you into a superior sprinter?

Yep. Just read about it on the BBC web site. If Bernie sticks to his guns and insists that it'll never go back to Silverstone and Brands Hatch it out, then we're up the Swanee.

----------------------------------------Looks like we might get another team in the mix next year even if we dont get to see them run in uk. Years ago F1 ran alternate years at Brands Hatch and Silverstone. It seems the BRDC were right to have doubts about this scheme. This morning Damon Hill President Of the BRDC speaking on the radio seemed to have thoughts that Bernie might put his hand in his pocket and bail out the cash strapped Donnington company. Bernie being an old pal of Tom Wheatcroft the overall owner of Donnington park.at least its got to the house of lords for possible government funding/support. I think we are having to watch for low flying pigs there http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motorsport/f...g-British-Grand-Prix.html ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by densnaps at Apr 24, 2009 6:43:22 AM] |

Bernie certainly seems to have it in for Silverstone but then he really likes money and tall women.
AND seeing that our drivers don't live here why don't we have the British Grand Prix in the Middle East where the weather is good? |

It could be an interesting race tomorrow. I can't remember when there has been so many likely candidates for real competition at the front; all good stuff.

Watched the quallie much ducking and diving fresh faces at the front anyones race tomorrow. Not the most exciting track from the TV viewers point of view featureless clinical even.I much prefer the older tracks like Monza , Spa or Le mans,Excellent paddock facility's Grand Grandstands, huge run off areas throughly modern and safe but no soul.I would think it hard to drive within the marked zones white paint instead of trees or Armco much safer I suppose .Tho solid bits concentrate the mind a bit I guess.

A good win by Button but also good to see a full race without rain and, despite the heat, pretty well all the cars finishing.
AND Kimi managed to break Ferrari's duck. |
