This thread grows constantly, so, is there any way to display lasts posts first?
----------------------------------------I saw thread with 70+ pages, but the oldest posts are displayed first, and I can't find button "get to the last post" or "show lasts posts first", or something like that, am I blind or what? ![]() |

lasis, if you look at the thead listing, under the name of the person who did the last post, is a button to goto last post.
------------------------------------------------------------------------- The website is upgraded to work as a universal pivot point for siggy use in all DC forums. will have first siggy out in next few min. The siggy has grid.org "veteran" stats: cpu time, points, results and join date. im scanning threads to help me fill out this list. So far i have: pic's of pepe chux and cargod email of chux, cargod, pepe, roger, and mostermash ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by courine at May 11, 2007 6:21:54 AM] |

Could you pls change yours, so we can see how the new siggie will look?
----------------------------------------Also if you want you could join the ___In2My.net___ team on boincstats and also create the team for projects where it is not created yet. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 11, 2007 7:17:00 AM] |

OK! I like the design.
My idea would be to give our own stats to the banner as well to make it a lil more personal. |

Number 10 up and running. I needed to get the motherboard drivers to get the onboard nic to be enabled. But because I didn't have a nic, I couldn't get them. I just brought a couple of Intel NICs home from the office because I knew that Windows XP would have the drivers and I wouldn't have to go hunting for the onboard drivers. I know MB drivers can be a PITA! LOL I have a box of MB CDs that has at least 40 CDs in it. Sometimes it's fun figuring out which one goes with which board. And older MB CDs may not have drivers for the current OS. I have gone to a different machine & gotten drivers for a MB and burned them to a new CD, but that's a lot of work for 1 driver! On a lighter note...I am approaching 1 year CPU time, it seems like just yesterday that I was moving into the new place...LOL Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 0:357:22:08:27 (#18,024) Points Generated (Rank) 195,399 (#24,151) Results Returned (Rank) 473 (#37,046) ![]() ![]() ![]() |

go cargod, GO! ================= Royden812 sent 5/11/2007 11:58 PM: Well, I see you are posting the slogan "Come crunch cancer at WorldCommunityGrid.org" but there is a small problem, we are currently between cancer projects, and although we can crunch for Muscular dystrophy, Aids, or the Genome Comparison or Proteome Folding, it is quite impossible to crunch for cancer. Just so you know. my response: hehe, oh i know. the project is expected soon, like in a month. right now there are a bunch of hardliners from the cancer crunching grid though. when people ask, i just tell them that cancer crunching here is the folding and aids projects currently, as we ramp up to the new cancer project due here soon. the one thing though: folding, aids and cancer are strange bedfellows, as they share much common research. __________________________________________________ Good call Roydan! This brings up a point: What is our direction? In the past, our direction was just one, but now its many. Since i arrived, ive been hoofing it to keep up with the learning curve. This is why no actions too dispatch until a clear path or a point of dead reckoning can be reached. I have found in cases like this, suggest that those gravitate to their natural position. Then return position data to evolve sub-groups or crunching categories. In turn, i will adjust logistics to serve accordingly. Soon, i will be delivering the next phase of team development. The focus is on better internal communications. Like messengers and voice communications. Also to expand on exposure created by the team siggy in other forums, like outposts. Once this achieved, we should have the needed footing to draw a clear course. The facility of increased communication will provide the transport tool to get what we need to know into what need to hear from us in the bigger picture. But if you want my gut level opinion on what i see to do: set your default agent setting to the cancer project only. then check the box to allow all other projects to have time if there isnt a cancer unit to crunch. This will help us server the grid in general, as all these projects are worthy. Just it saves the logistic pain of asking to move to the primary target, all at one time, later. move to replace the facility(s) you had when you were with grid.org. like smilies you had but lost. I have some sources to get them back. in other words, dig in, get comfy. run boinc if you can. boinc is a must for duo's keep us informed of where your at. look around and tell us what you see. look for recruits. ------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by courine at May 12, 2007 12:44:22 PM] |
