Re: More work coming

I'm going to try and get another cruncher or two going tonight. I have to run spinrite on another of my computer's hard drive and I might try and put it on my laptop if the OS isn't hosed. If it is, I will need some extra time so I can backup the data and reinstall the OS then do a restore. dancing

Re: More work coming

OK, im back! Sorry i was distracted.

Right now is a point of great expansion for the group. This goes for WCG, many DC resources as well as us. Ive been scouting to see what is out there in relationship to what is used or wanted.

This is why the expansion of the boiler plate (the first page of this thread) and the siggy for the unit. To keep our image in line with such phenominal stats as we grow to become a top ranking team.

In a sec, i'll have first cut of the final format.

Re: More work coming

The machine I was trying to bring online needs a new hard drive. So I grabbed another, but that needed an OS install done. Started that last night but it doesn't see the built in network card. I will get a NIC and plug it in tonight, then start doing some updates and get it online tonight or tomorrow. No luck with the laptop as of yet. crying

Re: More work coming

We hover in the top 50 teams right now.

The siggy is coming along and will be finished with touchup tonight, sorry for the delay. I have had to change my website to complemet the siggy, so sa soon as this is done, I can release it to everyone. There isnt much to do, its just doing it. The server is down awaiting repair, but i do have a mirror site and will make a quick change to prevent any further delay.

Sometimes you have to enable the onboard NIC in BIOS.
I'm sure you know that, but I have forgotten to enable them & fiddled a long time before remembering...

Re: More work coming

Number 10 up and running. I needed to get the motherboard drivers to get the onboard nic to be enabled. But because I didn't have a nic, I couldn't get them. I just brought a couple of Intel NICs home from the office because I knew that Windows XP would have the drivers and I wouldn't have to go hunting for the onboard drivers.
