No, there is no way for me to get a message to you than here, and this is a bbs not a mail system. So if you dont look, then i could scream all day and still not get the message across. Even if its getting you your siggy you want.

Can somebody help, please?
----------------------------------------Now I consider upgrading my home PC by adding some RAM, what confuses  me is this text from manual:System Memory Supports x8/x16, non-ECC, up to 512MB DDR devices Does it mean I can`t use 1GB modules?!  Chipset nVIDIA nForce3 250Gb , I know it`s quite old by measures of fast speeding IT industry, but 1. It works; 2. It`s DFI`s Lan Party series ("OC`s dream" some 3 years ago); 3. It`s MY FIRST and only PERSONAL computer; 4. When I look at that "Hi-end" P4 based reference system in UD agent`s window... well, you know. P.S. Monday morning I came to workplace, and... no task was running, there was a message, that "agent was trying to download new workunit every few minutes..." Reboot helped, still have no idea what was it, never seen something like that before. P.P.S. Hmmm... I could add team name with my photo to my sig (yeap @ last I will show my true face... Their website says "System Memory
----------------------------------------Supports x8/x16, non-ECC, up to 512Mb DDR devices", note 512Mb not 512MB, and since it also says it will do 3GB in Non-DDR 400 then that would be 3x1GB DIMMs [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 8, 2007 3:30:46 PM] |

Well... it says 2Gb max RAM if it`s DDR400 and 3Gb max if DDR333

in DDR400 it will take 2x1GB DIMMS, in DDR300 3x 1GB DIMMS.

OK, so I was going to get two 1GB DIMMs, and then stuck in doubt... as usual.

lasis: thats it: you can go and get a pair of 1GB modules, but if you want to OC, then just make sure you buy 500mhz ones.
