Here's something to think about while you are bored
----------------------------------------http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gmP4nk0EOE I think I discovered the Internet proper in around 1996 when I realised it's power after creating my first HTML in Hotdog (from a company called Sausage) to be used as a audio/visual aid for part of my Teachers Certificate coursework. I downloaded (at V42bis speeds ) a 7M download around midnight by first thing the following morning it was complete. The first of many nights since with the candle being burned at both ends. We've come a long way since then the WCG being one manifestation of this incredible network we have at our disposal. Night from the UK Dave ![]() |

etymology... 'lig' is likely from across the (small) pond..... 'ik lig' meaning 'i lie' (in bed). The German is 'Ich liege' and the Italian 'in letto' is also 'in bed'. That covered 5 languages without the use of a dictionary.... Enjoy today, for there might not be a tomorrow In Iddisch a Ligger (or ligner) is a liar, not a lier |
