I had some transient file problems on both upload and download this morning. See known issues (read only) at the top of the forum. It was fixed. My own uploads and downloads are running now. See whether you have the same problem when you try again. I have tried again, and a new workunit has been downloaded to my computer successfully just now. The upload and download problems of my computer should have been solved. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Alberthuang at Jan 17, 2007 5:57:42 PM] |

Have u tried exiting BOINC completely and restart? Still got work buffered? I've still got problems upload/download (all day long). Soooo.o.o I'm goint to abort my stuff, shut down and go to sleep until tomarrow. This is a bad day for sure. Have u tried exiting BOINC completely and restart? Still got work buffered? I have 4 units ready to run. The rest (7 units) are listed as "downloading" and when they attempt to download I get the MD5 check failed message that the previous poster listed. I tried shutting down the client and restarting and it didn't help. If I'm awake after these units I have left are finished, I'll post back if I haven't gotten any work units to run. |

There's a post by Ingleside in a new thread on MD5 error. Only FCG use zipped transmission, so u could abort those downloads, before untick FCG1 in your profile and see what happens.

These MD5-error-downloads is just to abort, since they won't ever successfully finish. ![]() "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." |

Just checked the client again and those downloads won't complete, but I am getting new work units now.
----------------------------------------Thanks for the info, SeKerob and Ingleside. I'll abort the troublesome units now. |
