Yes, one per two threads. I have it paired with Orbit (also small files) and have seen no bandwidth issues so far. I hope this is not another cruncher unfriendly project.

i think it is to help address the performance issue for the windows system. either that or the hang issues. Honestly though, only my systems, I wouldn't let all of my cores run CEP2 at the same time, it KILLS performance

Honestly though, only my systems, I wouldn't let all of my cores run CEP2 at the same time, it KILLS performance I'm not sure. Mine seem to be ~2 hours longer than the last go round. Absolutely no problems so far though. Got a second round and still no bandwidth problems when paired with a non-WCG project. Still only 1 per 2 cores which is OK by me. ![]() |

The 2 that are PV from this trickle are about 9-10 hours each. I have 11 more in progress so I won't know the results until tomorrow morning.

Same here ... 6-9 on the first one ... looks like 9-11 on this group. Still no bandwidth issue ... I almost feel deprived. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

As far as the bandwidth limits go, we are likely going to be adopting the 6.10 client shortly. It includes a feature that lets you set your max data transferred. We will modify the server so that if you are using a 6.10 client and have set that field then we will ignore the bandwidth check. This will make sure that people are protected from excess data transfers.

That 80% suggestion I told you about before comes from the old WinMx and open nap networks dial up days. I think anything less than a 1 meg upload (like me) is going to take some bandwidth management. Especially if you have multiple multi core machines on this project.
