Twenty beta for CEP2. Some are validated, some in PV kail and some still running.
----------------------------------------I noticed that 2 WU used more than 12h cpu time (one for sure was about 17h30) and there are shown in PV with 12h ! 5h30 our lost for my gold badge. |

I reported the problems to symantec and they wouldn't do anything about it, so I finally just gave up on them. I know the feeling. I canned them in 2002 when one of their updates borked my computer and their tech support wanted to charge me to fix it. Getting back OT I had a nice surprise waiting when I got home from work. 6 more betas in the cache. Must be repairs. I had one take 11+ hours on my fastest Windoze box and when I checked 2 wingmen had errored out on that one.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

12 WU completed without event, time ranged from 6 to 9 hours. So far 9 have validated and 3 still in PV. Need another 52 minutes for Bronze. Happy to receive any repair jobs.

11 total completed this go around. One went to 12 hours on a slower box before the agent killed it for exceeding CPU time.
9 Days 9 Hours 3 Minutes until Bronze. Maybe in few years... Until then I'm saving my pennies for a better work horse. |

Pretty good.
----------------------------------------Yesterday's stats proofed better than the 7850 I'd calculated to validate... Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) - Day 6:248:11:19:04 Meaning there are some 1800 still out there plus any repairs. Really works... calculate and return the result or your host wont get a new beta task. Definitely many times faster then under Linux, so expecting a big jump on the project when going life... but maybe a low weight not to blow all stops of the Harvard intertube :O ttyl

My 2 betas finished OK, albeit incomplete:
BETA_ E200362_ 127_ A.24.C18H13N3S2Si.47.3.set1d06_ 0-- Valid 9/15/10 08:33:29 9/17/10 11:37:53 12.00 106.6 / 102.9 BETA_ E200360_ 305_ A.24.C18H12N4OS.19.4.set1d06_ 0-- Valid 9/15/10 04:44:39 9/17/10 00:59:07 12.00 112.8 / 104.9 Both on WinXP 32bit P4s, first is a HT 3.2GHz and second is non-HT 2.8GHz. Both finished 14 jobs and then job 15 was killed "because cpu time has been exceeded". The HyperThreaded P4 has 1GB RAM and was running a C4CW WU at the same time. |

[snippage] Getting back OT I had a nice surprise waiting when I got home from work. 6 more betas in the cache. Must be repairs. I had one take 11+ hours on my fastest Windoze box and when I checked 2 wingmen had errored out on that one. I woke up this morning to find a couple more (apparently repair) work units on a dual core, running High Priority. On my two slowest single core machines they ran up to the 12-hour CPU time limit. I suppose I should install 6.10.58 on a couple (my windows machines all run the WCG-skinned 6.2.28, currently) so I can see the wall-clock time versus CPU time at a glance... by scrolling back on the Messages tab I can see they both started about 10.25 hours ago... right now one is showing just over 4.5 hours of CPU time, and the other just under 5.5 hours of CPU time. It's a laptop just sitting in its dock doing nothing else, so I'm not sure what else is using all the CPU time. I need to find a 'top' type utility for windows, I guess. |
