Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Yes that worked. It uploaded!
Will this file stay changed or will it be reset when the PC is rebooted.
I have a lot of PCs to change. This really sucks. I suspect there are a lot of companies that have firewalls with content filtering turned on that will have the same problem we are having.
If the url going out via http has suspicions strings inside like "pwd", "scr", "gcc", or "zsh" our firewall is going to drop it. Those rules will never be removed so that is not a choice. Any comments welcome. (be nice)
I could not even post this reply until I changed the url from http to https.

!

I see you must have found a solution. Too bad it requires an individual intervention on each machine. Good luck with the change.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Hopefully the change back in the SSL will fix the issue for you, at least for the time being and at least for the new units. Man, that has to be frustrating.

cool Re: Minnesota Crunchers

The burned out PC has been replaced, and burn in has begun on the new one. Let's see what it can do!

Vista x64 for now, when I get time it will dual boot Linux and Windows, with Linux being the preferred OS.
