Good work PiNkY.
My bug is it only creates stats for one of my projects - Dimes! ![]() I've selected all the projects I've worked on although I had to remove F@H 'cos it doesn't seem to recognise me there. Here is screen shot during project selection:- ![]() I just know it's gonna be something stupid I'm doing/not doing. |

Yep!! It's Climate Prediction that causes the trouble. See my previous post if you missed it. I've now added all the projects I crunch and they all work fine, except for Climate Prediction. Add that one and the Custom Texts screw up.

Aha! I think I have found the culprit. I am in the process of building another banner and I have discovered that adding Climate Prediction causes the problem I've been seeing with the 3 line (height=60) Custom Texts. Delete Climate Prediction and it works perfect. Add Climate Prediction back in and it breaks. Delete it and it works again. Try it, I think you'll agree. Also, I've found that it doesn't matter what order you add the Custom Text and the projects, contrary to Retsof's theory (if I read him correctly). It seems to be Climate Prediction and there may be others, I haven't tested all yet. I've put my latest creation in my sig, see that the sequence begins with a box 60 high with 2 text boxes, then you see a box 40 high with just 1 text box then the projects kick in at the top. But if I add Climate Prediction it will break, tested and verified as I said above. it seems to go in alpha order, so adding cp to the list would make cp the first image in the animation in your case... for example, here is the listing of the images used for your stats: custom1.gif custom2.gif malaria.gif qmc.gif rah.gif simap.gif spin.gif tanpaku.gif wcg.gif |

Evo...
I actually just changed F@H today, what's your username and teamnumber so I can see why it's not finding you? The change I made basically allows anyone that runs F@H to get their stats. The previous method I used only allowed people that are in teams ranked in the top 1000. I'm notsure what you mean about it only creating stats for Dimes? Unless I'm seeing things, I see numbers in all of them... ![]() |

OK, the alpha order may have something to do with it. Suppose the first frame in the sequence determines the maximum height of the ani-gif. When CP is in my list it becomes the first frame so the max height is 20, therefore the taller Custom Texts get cropped but anything 20 or less displays properly. Makes sense to me.
So before putting the frames together you need to check the list to see what the max height and width is? Or something like that? |

I'll try and add the option for custom dimensions to the list, so that in cases like yours, the final dimensions can be modified. ![]() I guess that's one question answered tonight - the mystery behind how it selects which image to base the dimensions on for the final anim. |

Option for custom dimensions added...doesn't look like it'll fix the problem you had though, Dagorath. Here's a sample...3 images: custom1, custom2, and dimes. ![]() |

The top image in my post is what I actually get when I use the link provided. Just Dimes. |

we're looking at the same picture, right?
---------------------------------------- ?i see all sorts of projects...dimes, ud/grid, rosetta, ralph, and wcg... is your browser somehow set to not play animations or somethinig out of the ordinary? how many projects do you see listed in the stats in my sig? perhaps it's caching, even though i have the images set so they don't cache... ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 8, 2006 6:45:23 AM] |
