BOINC cannot attach project

Hello,

If I type the following:
./boinc -attach_project www.worldcommunitygrid.org key

I get everytime the message "2006-08-19 13:21:00 [http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/] The web page at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ contains no BOINC information.
It may not be the URL of a BOINC project."

What is my mistake??

The ./ prefacing the command tells me you are using Linux. There is a GUI version of BOINC for Linux now. I think you may have an earlier version? And perhaps it is the version that does not have HTTPS? The latest Linux version is available at http://boinc.berkeley.edu.

I have the newest version of BOINC. If I want to attach the project with the GUI the same error occurs. Other project sources are working.
On windows I have the same problem with the general BOINC-Software, with the WCG-Version it works.

Smartpillie, for the duration of the sign-on disable firewall/antivir. Also try secure.worldcommunitygrid.org. If i try that, it brings up the ID/Password screen....BOINC 5.4.11 is the recommend level as previous version has issue with MacAfee

Let us know either / or as a learning reference for future victims.

Also if I deactivate antivir and the firewall the same error is reported. I use the 5.4.11 version for Windows and the 5.4.9 for Linux. The error message occurs after the login-screen. The login data is correct (tested). With the WCG-Agent I have no problems but I want to use BOINC for Linux (other projects are working e.g. http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/).

I don't think it's that - the scheduler data seems to be all present and correct.

Are you using a proxy?

No I am using no proxy. Other projects are working with this client. To WCG I can only connect with the WCG-Agent for Windows.
