Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

I just hope all this (us venting) is at least help our blood pressure. I know! It's a conspiracy and the morticians are all behind it. If the rest of the business world drives to our death with their &younameit., the ones who really benefit consistently over the long term are the morticians! biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Sorry! Sometimes my "alleged" brain takes these godonlyknows tangents and this is the kind of thing that I end up with. SIGH!

Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

Morning Keith

A sense of humour helps biggrin

Here's the latest I received this email tonight in amongst all that spam

Dear Freetalk customer,

Freetalk has partnered with Vonage, one of the world’s leading internet phone services!

Ooo good you think biggrin

the rest is on the web at http://www.vonage.co.uk/freetalk/

what do you reckon on the last line

To ensure your transfer goes smoothly, call Vonage direct on
0808 178 3403 today

1) Why will my transfer not go smoothly
2) Why should I need to call Vonage ..today

Another huge pile of straw for that Camel please

roflmao

Dave

Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

I dialled the UK freephone number and I was answered by a nice lady with an American accent in the Phillipines.

I wrote to Freetalk saying this looks like a Phishing Scam by Vonage but no it's true Freetalk can't provide my credit card details to Vonage on account of privacy regulations so my 35 Minutes on the phone mostly listening to Pacelbel's Canon ruined by voice compression technology is value for money - it takes me back to my wedding day 18 years ago when my musician buddy had his midi sequencer on an Artari ST all set up to go and to put me at ease he said it had "just crashed" oh how we laughed

Unbelieveable shock

Amazing dancing

The device turned up today I've plugged it in and.....IT WORKS!!!!

sorry about the caps but this doesn't happen all that often if your name is David Autumns.

Mark this down in your diary's as a day to remember 31st August 2006 - the day Dave Autumns was smoothly transfered from Freetalk to Vonage without a hiccup and all with just 35 Minutes in an ACD Queue

My faith in Humanity is restored love struck. It really is possible to do something without (expletive deleted) it up

Wow

Here's hoping this is the beginning of a roll

Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

Remember this on the 15th August 2006 I was looking for the words

Yes Mr Autumns a replacement will be in the post today

from my friends at o2 well they finally admited that I did pay the £29.99 for the insurance and on Saturday after I I paid the £15 excess we heard those immortal words. "Your Samsung E530 will be delivered on Tuesday."

So we've waited in all day for Mr Delivery Man and it's now 20 to 7 in the evening in the UK and guess what......

New quiz

a) It arrived it works and I'm a happy bunny

b) £$$%%$%£%% ^%$%^&^%& %&^%&%& o2 %$^%$^$^$

for the answer please call o2 Customer services on 08705 678678 - strange how I know this number by heart and great that it's a Non Geographic number that isn't part of my unlimited 24/7 landline package

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay, My, oh, my, what a wonderful
day. Plenty of sunshine headin' my way, Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!

I'm losing it biggrin

Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

Their data support line is premium rate, and they forced me to call it several times because they messed up my account setup.

One moment while I repress that particlar memory... lalalala

Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

For some strange reason my song is "Yellow Submarine" I shouldn't need to say who it's by. I was 6 month old when it made No1 - maybe it just takes me back to a time when I didn't have a care in the World.

OK that Samsung E530 is being delivered tomorrow.

Hands up who thinks it will turn up

Ok..that's surprising

Hands up who thinks o2 will not deliver again

Ok...you cynics wink

Bring on Wednesday

Re: My Orange Mobile Phone

D and D,

I'm afraid you have it all wrong. If you read your contract with Vonage it clearly states they have only 1 obligation under the contract. That obligation is limited to taking your hard earned money every month, period. They are under no obligation to provide you with any service or satisfaction whatsoever. The fact you can dial a number and talk to someone, perhaps even the person you want to talk to if you're lucky, is a just a bonus, a favor they do for you when they feel like it. Learn to love it.
