Re: Anybody Else Seeing Inconclusive Status on HPF2 Results?

You see Dagorath, the respected members Retep57 and Retsof identify with each other and who knows, is it the same person logging in under these 2 ID's trolling himself in virtual reality laughing

Back on topic, i havent received anymore HPF2, but the first i did which was returned in 18 hrs and valid. Has the submission been suspended pending these inconclusive investigations?l

Have a heart, Sekerob.

It's the weekend. Nobody will even begin investigating till Monday. We'll just go on crunching and let a number of problem results accumulate for investigation. Almost all the work units are going through, judging from the lack of complaints.

At least, I hope so.

Re: Anybody Else Seeing Inconclusive Status on HPF2 Results?

Same here, out of 14 HPF2 WU's crunched, I have: 3 inconclusives, one error and one invalid. My 2 machines are overclocked but they have crunched 24/7 for months now without throwing any invalid results so I'm sure it's not a hardware problem.

Now there's a real cowboy for ya. None of that wussy "suspend the submission" nonsense for lawrencehardin, he ain't afraid a no WU. Me too. I've set my preferences to get nothing but HPF2 just to help the scientists get this little twister figured out. That's the cowboy way, Sekerob.

Because real cowboys don't kiss each other. They saddle up a hoss, ride over to the saloon and meet a woman.

Re: Anybody Else Seeing Inconclusive Status on HPF2 Results?

The BOINC client is sightly different to the normal UD client. It lets you see the status of your work units after they are submitted. This is important because BOINC gives credit when a work unit is validated, not when it is uploaded. It also gives no credit for error results.

Re: Anybody Else Seeing Inconclusive Status on HPF2 Results?

I'm suffering from a number of inconclusive results on all my machines from these new units - never had a problem before.

I'm assuming we still get the credit eventually thinking

I'll just carry on as usual - the techs will no doubt sort it out soon nerd
