Well, I don't expect to joining you guys up there in the ionsphere
---------------------------------------- I should hit 400,000 here in the next day or two and still think I'll break thru the 3000 rank although the overall speed in that direction has slowed  Clearly, I'm getting closer to maxing out. Still, if anyone ever wonders if one machine can do much, I can always point to myself. It would be nice if I could compare myself to other WCG crunchers running a single device but we'd have to address the device deletion albatross first  I know there's some folks with a single device above me but lots more below me  Crunching with a single device is not futile! I've just done it with a little help from my Daughters - a real family effort. 7 PC's running in the house!! (and a nice BOINC assist) That's me done for now I have no aspirations to get any higher. I've been crunching since day 1 - the 16th November 2004. It's time to put my slippers on and sit back in that rocking chair now reminiscing on the day I made it to 250th in the World I've made the top 0.1267% that'll do for me It's all downhill from here and do you know I'm looking forward to it Come on folks hurtle past me be my guest When you do I'll be happy in the knowledge that great things are being done here on the WCG for the record  and no photoshop involved Keep those CPU's glowing and those fans blowing for the World Community Grid It's great working together for the good of Mankind Dave |
