Re: MOT website downtime

I didn't use a bad word! Did I?!?!

I don't remember using one! If I did, it wasn't intentional!

Did I say "dang straight..."? If so, what's wrong with that? Please enlighten me someone...

Re: MOT website downtime

Don't feel bad spikey, about 2 responses down I have an edit also by nelsoc.
I don't think we were naughty.
Then again maybe we were and didn't even realise it.
Us naughty MOT boys. Only thing is I don't remember saying anything bad.

Greetings Graham and all at MOT smile

I have just returned from a weeks holiday and read the email regarding Dave Bell sad

I would like to add my sincere good wishes for a speedy recovery - be assured Dave and his family in my prayers.... hugs

Ady smile

smile Hi Ady
Thanks for the kind words re: Dave Bell
I will see that he gets your message
I hope you had a good holiday, I am well overdue for a break

Hello Graham,
Any new word on Dave?
I know he'll be in there for a while, but hopefully his son gets a chance to give us an update on how he is doing.
You may find me absent for the next couple of days on the forum. Tomorrow I'm leaving for Atlanta, Georgia.
So I might not get a chance to get back on here to harass as many of you as possible.
My mom has to have open heart surgery to replace a bad valve in her heart. So the next couple of day are going to be very hectic until the surgery is done Friday morning.
In the meantime keep those fans a blowin, computers a hummin and results a pumpin.
Talk to you all soon.

I don't know if you are old enough to remember, LT, but thankfully the technology and human skills behind this type of operation have developed at an astonishing rate over the last 20 years. By this I mean not only the miraculous gadgetry used in the operation itself, but they way the anaesthetic is administered right through to the machines that go 'bing' in the ITU/ICU.

Your Mum is in great hands - with her improved heart function she will feel much younger and be able to nag at you for years to come! All the very best wishes from me and, I am sure, your team-mates

A little time away

As you've probably read above, I'm moving to the USA. I'm actually moving officially on the last weekend of Arpil, but all my personal belongings really need to be packed up and on their way before that.

So, I'm not going to be on here a great deal over the next 4 weeks. I'm sure Graham will do a grand job holding the fort, and hopefully Dave Bell makes a full speedy recovery.

My PC will still be on, and I'll be nipping in every now and then to see what's going on but I won't be as active as normal.

See you all on the other side wink
