Re: smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 14 smile smile

You may find me absent for the next couple of days on the forum. Tomorrow I'm leaving for Atlanta, Georgia.
So I might not get a chance to get back on here to harass as many of you as possible.
My mom has to have open heart surgery to replace a bad valve in her heart. So the next couple of day are going to be very hectic until the surgery is done Friday morning.
In the meantime keep those fans a blowin, computers a hummin and results a pumpin.
Talk to you all soon.

My mother has the same surgery about six months ago - here in Atlanta too. The surgeons treat that as the cardiac equivalent of an appendectomy these days. It certainly feels a bit different when you're on the receiving end though. They had my mom done in 2.5 hours. If she's having it done at Emory or St. Joe's, she'll be in good hands. Both hospitals have excellent reps for cardiac care.

Hello Graham,
Any new word on Dave?
I know he'll be in there for a while, but hopefully his son gets a chance to give us an update on how he is doing.

He hee - very Easter-ish, Graham! biggrin

Morning all - ovely and sunny out there today. The lawns have been cut twice so far this year and we are already on water restrictions (hose-pipe ban) due to a 16 month dry spell. Not going to bother with too many flowers this spring!

Some of the restrictions are a bit odd. I can't wash my car (only with water in a bucket) at home, yet I can take it to any car-wash, even if it doesn't recycle the water...

Re: A little time away

Hey guys, I don't want to pester you or anything, but I'm applying for a scholarship and the way they issue it is by you getting friends to vote on you because they think you're a kind person. I figured since my team knew the contribution I was giving to WCG you could help me out and toss me a few votes. I'd really appreciate it. You're allowed to vote once a day, so by all means, keep coming back. http://www.helpastudent.com/alainbryden?602 thanks team
