smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 14 smile smile

smile Good Morning Guys
Here is an email I received this moning from Keith Bell regarding his dad's (Dave Bell's) health
I thought it would be better to post it here for you all to read first hand
Hello Graham,
My father asked me to write and let you all know what's been happening. I don't know how to access the forum so I ask, if you deem this necessary to post this message sent on behalf of my father. My dad is still in the hospital. He wanted me to first and foremost thank everyone for the beautiful bear. He says it sits with him on his bedside and the nurses think it's cute. Dad's health unfortunately is not so good. Nothing to alarm anyone about, the infection is unfortunately getting worse. The doctor's at this point are taking aggressive measures to help my dad out. He is on IV antibiotics and may be in the hospital for at least another six to eight weeks. His spirits are a bit low, understandably so, but he is a trooper and will get through this. He wants everyone to know that he is going to be up and around as soon as possible and that he misses chatting with everyone. If you'd like more information please don't hesitate to contact me at the email address attached. From my brothers and I, I would like to thank everyone for the kind gift. It really picked his spirits up. I ask that if you pray remember dad in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Keith Bell

Just a thought Graham... why doesn't someone collect some get well wishes from the people here on the forums and forward them to his son to give to Dave? Maybe set up an e-mail address for everyone to send messages to. Might pick up his spirits some more.

For those interested, the hospital address and phone are:

Durham VA Medical Center
508 Fulton Street
Durham , NC 27705
Phone: (919) 286-0411

As of last Friday, he was in room A7006-2. That's the 7th floor, A-wing, room 6.
Anyone can call the hospital and confirm his current room in case he's moved.

Get well soon Dave
