Re: smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 14 smile smile

The email thing sounds like a good idea. We can even send his son the password for the email. That way his son can get the emails a little at a time so as not to overwhelm his dad to much.
Only problem may be the fact that it will get full faster then we can imagine. A lot of people may not be able to send emails to it since it will probaly fill up quite fast. Either that or we will need someone with an email account with some pretty good storage space on their account.
I do have a gmail account which I will volunteer for the use of sending Dave support emails unless someone has an objection.
If no one has an objection I will post the email account tonmight here in the forum and we can start filling it up.
It has 2700mb of free space that I will gladly donate.

It would be a good idea in my opinion

At times like these, support from friends and colleagues is invaluable

Wishing Dave B a speedy recovery - your'e a trooper and anticipate your return to MOT/WCG and the forums when the time is right biggrin

The average text only email is well under 20k so it only takes 10 Meg of space to hold in excess of 500 email messages

You could send your greetings to his son Keith Bell at: bellk(at)stu.beloit.edu
Remember to substitute @ for (at)

I have expressed it like that to stop bots mining the email address

I feel sure Keith will be able to get them to his Dad without a problem

Just a suggestion:
It may not be a good idea to add image attachments to the emails, as the whole message may be rejected as spam
Besides people are real touchy about opening attachments these days

I have no problem with that Graham since I don't know much about the tech side of email sizes and all.
biggrin That why we have smart guys on our team who know alot about email and everything else. biggrin
If he needs more space though I will gladly give my gmail to the cause.
I'm sure Keith is keeping in touch with you and if he needs the more space he'll give you a yell.

For those interested, the hospital address and phone are:

Durham VA Medical Center
508 Fulton Street
Durham , NC 27705
Phone: (919) 286-0411

As of last Friday, he was in room A7006-2. That's the 7th floor, A-wing, room 6.
Anyone can call the hospital and confirm his current room in case he's moved.

Get well soon Dave
