Re: Team Seychelles .... The COCONAUTS footloose again...

I am sick and tired of all this infighting and intrigue with MOT, as I suspect many others are. They are bringing this forum into disrepute. It's time for the WCG to take control of this situation or is this the public face the WCG wishes to display? What is a newbie viewing this forum supposed to think of WCG? I apologise to the 90% of MOT who are blameless of these events.

I'm all for free speech and expression, so why does MOT have to hide behind closed doors?

David was a good Team Captain, and whilst I freely admit I was not sold over, does not deserve this treatment from his team members.

I just sent the WCG folks a question. I think its time we really know who the community admins really are.

I agree Rudi, I hope you get a reply. It has always concerned me that some of the Community Admins are also members of certain teams.

I am seriously considering ending my posts on this forum in light of the events going on elsewhere. This forum, and by implication WCG, has become tainted with the antics of a small number of individuals within MOT. In the interests of the WCG, as a whole, perhaps it would be better for everyone if they followed their ex-captain's example and resigned. One member of MOT has already resigned twice last month and then reinstated themselves. Pathetic. I would post this in their own thread, but they would only complain of outsiders interferring. Pot calling the kettle black?

I wonder why the mystery on who the community admins really are. I will leave my box crunching here for now, but I have to agree Openess is required. I doubt we will get an answer. I should have saved some of the posts made in the old team canada forum.

I've seen a few sites where mods/admins used an alias. I never saw the point either. From what I've seen that only gives you a free hand to do things that are out of line. Things you might think twice about if you weren't using an alias.
I question my affialition with WCG as well these days. sad

Re: Team Seychelles .... The COCONAUTS footloose again...

COCONUT CURRY
For Veggies
Cooking time 10 to 30 mins

Ingredients :
2 medium potatoes, chopped
1 lemongrass stalk
4 tbsp Puy lentils
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
6 mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
125g/4oz green beans
1 yellow pepper, de-seeded and chopped
1 courgette, chopped
250g/8oz frozen sweetcorn
300ml/½ pint can coconut milk
1 lime, juice only
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Method :
1. Put the potatoes, lemongrass and lentils into a medium saucepan and add enough boiling water to just cover the tops of the potatoes. Return to the boil, then simmer for about 15 minutes.
2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onion, garlic, mushrooms, turmeric and cumin until the onion is soft. Add all the remaining ingredients, except for the coriander, and stir well.
3. Remove the lemongrass from the lentil pan, then add the lentil mixture to the onion mixture.
4. Simmer everything for about 10 minutes, or until the lentils are soft, then add the chopped coriander.
5. Serve with brown basmati rice cooked with a few cardamom pods, plus warm naan bread.
