SOOO Join Today or we will be forced to start Moose menu and Poutine Menus.... Poutine Ah I remember that. French fries, cheese and gravy.  Invented in 1957 by Fernand Lachance in Warwick, Quebec. Poutine is slang for mushy mess and the correct way to pronounce it (according to my Godfather) is "Poutsin" and not "pooteen" It has a very high calorific value and is best described as " A heart attack in a bowl". I ony tried it the once and that was once to many.  Better dig out the recipe Rudi. You wait and see, Akela is going to post in a moment and claim it's his favourite dish eaten round the camp fire with the rest of his pack...  |
